Sam Lee Jackson is the author of eleven acclaimed novels including nine of the Jackson Blackhawk thriller series. Published in 2016, The Girl at the Deep End of the Lake became an immediate Amazon bestseller.  It was followed by, The Librarian, Her Daughter and the Man who Lost his Head; The Bag Lady, the Boat Bum and the West Side King; They Called Her Indigo; The Man with the Lightning Scar.  His latest is Deep Woods Warrior.

As a young man, Sam acquired a love for honest, realistic westerns in the vein of Elmore Leonard and Robert B. Parker. The greatest of all were the short stories of Dorothy M. Johnson. He has written two well reviewed historical westerns set in 1880’s Arizona, Shonto’s Kid and Shadow Dancer. Sam lives in Phoenix Arizona with his wife Carol.
